What People Are Saying
from Google"There’s a reason why this restaurant has five stars. On my travel from Carson City, Nevada to Akron, Ohio, I stopped in Cheyenne Wyoming to stay the night and subsequently take care of some business. One important thing was to get dinner. I looked on my maps to check out the local cuisine and found Destination Taiwan. The menu was small, but concise and determined. I ordered the TRADITIONAL BEIJING ZHA JIANG MIAN and the green onion flatbread. When they brought the food out to me, the chef advised that I eat the flatbread first while it was hot. When I say everything was absolutely delicious, I’m not joking. This restaurant provided the single motivation for me to return to Cheyenne, Wyoming! What a hidden gem!"
"Love this little spot!! The owners are so kind and the food is always hot, fresh and delicious. They have a wide variety of buns, from savory to sweet, and they also have delicious teas and the green onion flatbread is my favorite. The black sesame, pork and leek, and purple taro buns are my favorite and I had a mango lychee tea to finish it off. They are cash only but the food and customer service are so worth it."
"It's a real gem, especially since it's in a more rural area where you wouldn't expect to find authentic Taiwanese food. That's a huge bonus! The food we had was genuinely fantastic. And the prices were great, especially for the quality you get. It was a perfect, affordable stop on our trip."
"Delicious food and super friendly staff!! I've been craving buns/dim sum type food for so long and couldn't find any anywhere. So glad I randomly stumbled on this place. The food was delicious and affordable. I ended up getting literally one of everything just because I wanted to try it all and I ended up eating every last bite because it was so yummy. The rice noodle pancake is legit amazing. Even the sweet buns, which I'm usually not a fan of, were so good. Definitely recommend and will be back."
"It's a booth on a parking lot, so you have only take out. There's a table outside though, and we successfully used it. They have so many good and interesting stuffs!! My husband had Taiwanese pork rice, a famous street food, and I tried some steamed buns and a pancake. Everything was exceptionally delicious and even more: the flavors and textures that I have never experienced. Indeed, I have never tried Taiwanese cuisine just because I never ran into a Taiwanese restaurant unfortunately. Their taro steamed buns and their Chinese spinach is something undescribable 🤩"
