"Last Sunday morning my dad and I had breakfast at the Diamond Horseshoe Cafe in Cheyenne, spending about an hour there between 8:30 and 9:30 AM. As soon as you walk in, it feels like a classic old-school diner, the kind of place that’s clearly been around for a while and has a steady group of regulars. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and we were seated quickly even during the breakfast rush. Our orders were taken right away and the food didn’t take long to come out. I ordered the sausage omelette with cheddar cheese, hash browns, and an English muffin. The plate, shown in the photo, was generous and served hot. The omelette was cooked well and tasted good, and the hash browns were nicely browned. Nothing was wrong with the meal, but it also didn’t really stand out as anything more than solid diner food. It was straightforward, filling, and exactly what you’d expect from a traditional breakfast spot. Overall, this is a dependable place for breakfast if you’re in Cheyenne and want a relaxed, no-frills diner experience. It’s a good fit for locals, travelers, or anyone looking for a familiar breakfast without surprises. If you’re chasing something unique or upscale, this probably isn’t it, but for a classic diner meal with friendly service and a comfortable atmosphere, it does the job just fine."

"I was just passing through, but I saw lots of regulars that knew the staff. Service was fast, attentive, and friendly. The food was what I wanted from a diner, and it was a good price too! It had the small town feeling for sure, which I appreciate. Good food, loyal regulars, and friendly staff, that's what a good diner is, right? This place checks all the boxes. Certainly better than the chains like Denny's or Perkins. Oh and did I mention I had excellent service? 5 stars"

"Went in on a Saturday morning. We heard it is a place to take family from out of town. It is not a place I will bring family from out of town. The food was an ok. The waitress was swearing and talking about drugs with customers. They were all loud. That was a damper on the atmosphere."

"My wife and I have tried 8 or 10 breakfast places in Cheyenne over the past few years, and we’ve got to admit, Diamond Horseshoe has become our go-to favorite. What’s not to like? Really good food; fast, friendly service and a cozy, diner-type atmosphere. This time I had the Classic two-egg breakfast with ham and my wife had the Classic with chorizo. We both also had sides of green chili. Our food was great, the green chili has just enough heat to be interesting without overpowering the flavor of the food or melting your face off. Service was fast, and the food came out fresh and hot. Parking can be challenging at times when they are really busy due to location. All in all, we recommend Diamond Horseshoe to anyone looking for good food at a reasonable price! We will be back again!"

"Pretty good food! The omelette is thoroughly cooked. Just the way I like it. The hash browns are actually browned and crispy. The biscuits and gravy were pretty good, served with chipped beef instead of sausage gravy. Not bad, and a good portion for eat too. Affordable prices."
