"My husband and shared the ribeye steak medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. It was tender and very flavorful. Our server was fantastic. Polite and very accommodating. We will definitely visit here again on our next visit to Wyoming. Yum."

"I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Railyard in November was unacceptable and concerning. I ordered a dirty martini- a drink I order regularly and know well. This one was undrinkable. It tasted strongly of chemicals rather than olive brine. Everyone at the table tasted it and agreed something was clearly wrong. From the start, the waitress seemed visibly upset or irritated, and interactions felt tense rather than welcoming. That made it harder to speak up, but the drink was undrinkable. I normally avoid confronting restaurant staff and felt anxious doing so, but I did let the waitress know and asked to switch to a glass of wine instead. Shortly after, my food arrived. I ordered chicken, and after a few bites something felt off. When I checked, the chicken was COMPLETELY raw in the middle. Both chicken breasts on my plate were raw, and I had already eaten some of it. This was not slightly undercooked, the chicken was raw in the middle This is not a minor mistake-serving fully raw chicken is a serious food safety issue. When I mentioned it to the waitress, before I could finish my sentence ("my chicken is...") she interrupted and said, “It’s raw?!” which suggested this may not have been an isolated incident. While she offered to replace the meal, I declined, having already lost my appetite and confidence in the kitchen. She remained in a noticeably bad mood our entire time there. Between the chemical-tasting cocktail, the raw chicken, and the tense, uncomfortable service, the experience was deeply disappointing. Mistakes happen, but multiple serious issues in one visit point to larger problems with quality control and attention to basic standards. I won’t be returning, and I’d urge others to be cautious."

"Decent food and prices. I ordered French onion soup and fried walleye tacos. The soup was nice, but needed a little more salt to be perfect. The mango salsa on the tacos was too spicy for me, but what's new with my frail Minnesota taste buds? The walleye itself was moist and crispy, so that was lovely. Service was attentive with drink refills. A fine stop on the road."

"I ORDERED "Dry Aged Ribeye..medium" What I actually got was 2 filet mignons. SUBSTANTIAL DIFFERENCE IN COST...AS MY BETTER HALF SAID AT LEAST THEY ARE BETTER THAN A CHUCK WAGON. Might as well have been 🙄 This is the 2nd time Railyard has not delivered. The last time the young lady at the bar whom took my "To Go" orders tried to talk us out of the 45 day aged steaks AND asked if we could "afford" them 🙄😬😒😏 When I personally went in, to talk to the manager. The manager rolled their eyes, said they weren't available to the hostess AND to call. I called and it went to voicemail. She called me 5 days later and left a voicemail message. Once again I went in personally and she told the hostess to get my info AND I have never heard back. I have called the corporate office and they clearly don't care as they never returned my multiple messages. It just makes it easier to give Prime Rib our business. Gillette may be very transient, but we are very local. Word of mouth goes a long ways."

"As a local, I usually recommend this restaurant to people. After last night's dining experience, I would recommend people to Perkins or McDonald's for a better meal. I ordered the steak tips and got a plate of fat and gristle mixed with rice that was scooped on my plate as if it was slid off the kitchen floor with a spatula. My wife ordered the bacon wrapped filet, medium. It was rare. Nobody checked to see if the steaks were good. Service, what service? It's really disappointing to spend a good deal of money in the effort to have a nice evening out, and be thoroughly disappointed."
