"We stopped by Picnic on our last morning in Jackson and before the flight home. There is plenty of parking in the lot and along the street. The restaurant is cute and clean. The yute ordered a Bada Bing (Italian meat style) and he devoured it. He said it was delicious. I had the Chicken Zattar panini and it was also delicious with a thick piece of moist chicken inside. I saved half for the flight. The lady had a cup of lentil soup and it was great. For deserts we had pumpkin bread, thick chewy chocolate chip cookie and a double chocolate chip cookie that was fantastic. There is a water dispenser near the front of the store also. Great place to eat. Super friendly staff. Even met a lady working there that was a friend of a girl that is brother to guy that is dating my brother's daughter - Wyoming, Texas, Louisiana connection. "It's refreshing when a cafe gets all the basics right and delivers a great experience. The bread for the toast was local made, the egg souffle was perfection, the jam was tasty and local? It's been a decade since I ate toast and jam yet here I am recommending it the pepper bacon was well prepared and delicious. The coffee was also excellent."
