What People Are Saying
from Google"The cinnamon roll is HUGE—definitely big enough for a table of four to share. The biscuits and gravy were just okay, not the best I’ve had. The omelet was good but pretty average. The country fried steak was solid, and the chorizo burrito was very good. The interior has a homey, classic diner feel, which adds to the charm. A good breakfast spot overall!"
"The Virginian Restaurant is what you’d expect of a hometown breakfast cafe. Nothing notable about the atmosphere and decor other than some historic photos and antiques. Food was good service was good and very clean. It’s locally owned and operated."
"Classic hearty American breakfast. Liked the egg Benedict with hash and the chowder. Food is decent,"
"The Virginian Restaurant is very Western with all the memorabilia on the walls. I had the KC Omelette which is Tomato & Mushroom & Cheese in it. Great flavor, and the hash browns that came with it were just right for some people, but I like them a little more browned. The coffee was great and I was asked or given a refill by 2 different people, and about 3 or 4 times, so that made me happy about the place. Most restaurants may ask you once, or not at all. It’s here is your food and coffee and then here is your check. Not here. They are looking out for you. Also, their salsa on the side was $2.75, and delicious on my eggs."
"What a gem of a restaurant. The service really was the best. Very nice staff, fast and efficient. The whole meal was absolutely delicious. Someone told me that their pancakes were the best tasting pancakes they've ever had. I'm not a huge pancake eater, but I thought I would take the advice. I ordered the blueberry pancake. "Wow," it was the best blueberry pancake I've ever had. The bacon was crisp to perfection. All the other meals looked fabulous and tasty. No complaints from our group."
