What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"This place is so cute!!! I booked a morning tea appointment with two friends and it was so much fun. You each get a pot of tea of your choice along with a spread of brunch items to snack on including English scones with clotted cream and jam, fresh fruit, and some finger sandwiches. The scones were so delicious and not overly dense and the cream and jam came in tiny little serving jars!! Everything is so pink and cute with little mice figurines everywhere. The tea was perfectly made and you can ask for sugar and cream if you want. There is a downstairs area that has little sections for kids to have a tea party and also shows some of the history of the mice. We spoke with the owner, Ruth, and she is so kind and does so much for the community! All around great experience and would definitely come back. The cupcakes are delicious as well and there are a ton of flavors along with seasonal flavors that rotate out as well."
"This place is not only a little girls dream spot, but they have the best cupcakes I personally have ever tried, and I have been to every state. This tea house is not just for little girls and women, but I believe that's who the demographics are cattered too. Everytime I am in Laramie The Sugar Mouse is a must stop not only to try thier normal cupcakes, but their seasonal, and even cupcakes for dogs. The staff is very warm and welcoming, and very helpful with suggestions. My favorite cupcake is the Lavender Blackberry. They also have some food items. My personal favorite is the Cheddar Broccoli soup and ham sandwich. Once again, this is a must visit establishment in Wyoming!!!!"
"I was visiting downtown Laramie and came across this cupcake shop randomly. The outside of the shop was intriguing enough for me to go in. Come to find out, the inside of the shop is super cozy and the cupcakes are delicious! I had the coconut and carrot cake cupcake and both of them were incredible. The inside of the shop is very unique and it has a very cozy vibe. What a delicious treat to find on my trip to Laramie!"
"We’ve been waiting for the little tea room to open. It did not disappoint. Held my daughter’s 4th birthday and it was magical. Every detail is well thought out and with the kids in mind. Dress up for boys and girls, amazing treats, drinks and so much fun. Ruth is amazing and so good with the kids. We can’t wait to visit again."
"You know a place is a 5 stars when your child is upset to leave. Unfortunately, the draw back to the place is it’s not open 24/7. Oh well, they can’t be open forever. We had an amazing time. I saw a friend post about her experience, and I knew this would be a fun place to bring my daughter for her birthday. Upon looking at the website, I saw they do open play hours. They also do private parties for anyone who wants to do a party here. We ordered tea, sandwiches, biscuits, and cupcakes. Then, we headed downstairs where we were enchanted with a children’s play area. The pure, sweet joy in my daughter’s face made everything special."
