The food, ice cream and drinks are delish. I love the freshly squeezed orange juice and breakfast sandwiches. The staff are so kind and helpful. And...as if that wasn't enough, my children's book, Tiagu and Vovo and the Capeverdean Dictionaries sit so pleasantly displayed on her wall of books."
"OMG this place is so yummy everyone should come here. I got the grilled cheese BLT and the bread alone was to die for. The bacon was so good and the cheese was the perfect amount of melty cheddar jack. My wife got a breakfast that came with an oven roasted potato hash that I will be coming back to get more of. We finished with a crepe and ice cream. The crepe was HUGE. (And I also bought three new books!)"
"I have been waiting for this place to open 🤩 Happened to briefly speak to the owner last week but didn’t have time to stop in. Finally made it today on my lunch, so glad I did. Lovely environment, great staff, sweet customers and a surprisingly diverse assortment of books for all ages. Heard the Dr plans to expand? "Visited today for a quick bite and got to met the owner, Dr. Ellie Paris and her family. When chatting we found out we’re both educators and will connect in the fall for a collaboration between our practices - she is an entrepreneur with a community building focus AND runs this social bookstore/cafe and I don’t know which one of these things I love more. I had a BLT melt - perfectly grilled to a golden crisp with fresh melted mozzarella 🤌. I grabbed a book and got to sample some fresh squeezed OJ. I can’t wait to go back with friends!"
