What People Are Saying
from Google"The Grandma Latte is actually $7, not the $6 listed on their menu. They do not tell you ahead of time that if you get a coffee iced they charge you $1, which is strange because that usually means they’re giving you less coffee if you’re getting it iced so I’m not sure what’s up with the unspoken upcharge. It’s also a little annoying since the menu on the wall doesn’t show all the options—you don’t see the full list until you’re at the counter. I also wasn’t sure if they still served bagels until I got to order. The space itself is large and open, but extremely noisy. I came on a weekend, so it was packed with people catching up with friends, though I did notice a few folks with laptops “working.” There are power strips and outlets by the big tables, which is convenient. If you can’t find regular seats, there are smaller stools near the front by the motorcycle and some low tables in front of the sofa. Parking: Plenty available—it’s located in what seems like a business plaza, so finding a spot wasn’t an issue. Service: Friendly and responsive. The napkin dispenser was empty, but they restocked it right away when asked. Downsides: The pricing felt a bit steep (they charge an extra $1 to make your drink iced, which I only noticed on the receipt) and the volume level makes it tough to focus if you’re trying to work."
"They have an interesting menu and a very comfortable space. The apple fritter was amazing But the bread on the sandwiches appeared to be a little more toasted than I normally like so I didn't get one of those The donuts are good but nothing to be excited about. The specialty coffees were kind of nice although the person I was with ordered something with tonic water and I'm just not into that. But like always make sure you order something that's to your tastes and you should have a good time."
"Overall great experience. Coffee was great and the service was as well. I had the "Hug in a Mug" (mocha + cinnamon) which was very good. The place is huge and it was a packed house. So, if you're looking to have a quiet conversation, this really isn't the place for that."
"Our first time to Minnesota, we flew in for the Paul McCartney concert last night and wanted to try out the local coffee scene. This shop was tremendous, we liked it better than FRGMNT and Northern Coffeeworks in Minneapolis- from the flavor of coffee, to the kindness of the baristas, and the beautiful, modern, and cozy atmosphere with large windows and a welcoming environment, this shop checked every single box! We wish we could come back more often. Next time we come back to visit the area, we will be sure to come back here!"
"Spacious spot but very very busy! Plenty of parking though which is helpful but if the lots full, it is probably a take and go kind of situation. I stopped in here around 10:30am today and business was roaring! Love that for the coffee shop but if you want to have a chill experience or read a book, this may not be the best place since it was a bit loud. I ordered a golden milk which was good, but I would've preferred it in a mug. I saw they had mugs available though but when I asked, they said they were too busy. I personally feel like if mugs are available especially when you can see them, they should be used as it takes the same amount of time to put the drink in a reusable mug. Just my two cents!"
