"If I could give this place 100 stars I would. The atmosphere when you walk in is so welcoming and you really don’t know where to look first because everything from the decor, to the domino table that acts as an actual table to dine in, to the greca on the walls, record player- it’s definitely an amazing vibe. The FOOD? AMAZING! Best Cuban sandwhich I’ve had in a really long time and it had so much flavor that you really didn’t need the mojo but it gave it that extra savory taste I love when eating a sandwhich. The owner Juan was so nice and sweet and offered us a coconut flan that was so decadent too- even took the time to sit with us and explain the community he’s building around Cafè 28. Coffee? On point- so delicious and rich in flavor. I have nothing but amazing things to say. I love to support small businesses, especially Hispanic ones and I can’t wait to see them flourish. God bless!"

"Stopped in here with my mom today and I’m so glad we did! The food was delicious and the owner shared how the food is fresh and made in-house. The portion of the Cuban sandwich is more than generous and it’s one of the best I’ve had in a long time. I look forward to going back and trying some dessert next time.
