"Visited on a Saturday afternoon in August, just walked in while passing. Cute, breezy place, open-air feeling due to large open windows. No waiting for a table. It was almost empty, except for 5 or 6 animated young ladies conversing behind the counter. I asked them what their favorite smoothie was. One said Apple Pie, so I ordered it, with an add in of collagen as a splurge. It took probably 10 minutes to make, noticeably long for there being so many staffers and no customers other than a couple well into their meal. One of the girls brought it out to me with a huge smile. Bar none, it was the nastiest smoothie I’ve ever shelled out money for — $13 to be exact. No hint of apple, almonds, or any other of the yummy-sounding ingredients listed in its description. Quasi-unrelated aside: I wonder if the staff were maybe daughter and friends, working their summer job?"
