"Stopped by Donut Star in Lakeville and had such a great experience. I was there working on some content and grabbed a half dozen donuts, they were super fresh and so good. Zella, the manager, was really friendly and welcoming. Just an all-around great place to stop for a treat."

"I really loved the doughnuts. They were all well priced for the quality. In the Boston Cream, you can taste the quality in the vanilla. You can see and taste the vanilla bean!! Not the synthetic stuff used in the chain places. I also highly recommend the apple fritters too."

It’s bright inside, a big table for coloring for the kiddos and a ton of variety. Same specials as Burnsville 1/2 off after 12 and crullers Friday."

"Beautiful day. We decided to go here because we saw them on Joshlilj Philantropy's Snapchat. They donated donuts for Josh to give out to the homeless. We were there right after they were opened and picked out 2 donuts. I wish we would have eaten them right away but we didnt till a couple of hours later. They were good."

"Clean, modern design and reasonable price. Decent seating with a small area for coloring. Very moist and soft cake doughnuts to a point like soaking in sugary glaze were ok. Mild flavor chocolate doughnuts with minimal sprinkle was a disappointing the little one. Mild flavor Almond and the strawberry frosting were extremely sweet. Apple fritters with very minimal apple pieces was average, I had much better ones. I like raised doughnuts that are sweet, but this is way too sweet for me with black coffee. The original location is in Burnsville with new ownership."
