"Pastry was doughy and the filling was bland. Too much whipped cream to cover the sins of a poorly made coconut cream. The chocolate pudding was decent. The Chai tea was good. The chairs outside are starting to break down and they need better napkins."

"Plenty of parking, little kid friendly, light and bright atmosphere, changing table in bathroom, accessibility handles for bathroom. Need to have a reservation to have a high tea or an afternoon tea. I had a cream tea + French onion soup + club sandwich. Everything was the perfect temperature, food and tea were delicious. I went on a Wednesday at 11 AM. Quiet, not busy at that time. Order and pay at the counter, they bring the food to your table. I went as a single eater. I will bring my spouse and 5 year old next time. There's a smaller table with a castle and toys for the younger patrons. There is also a "Unicorn Tea" on the menu for kids. I think my little boy will like this. Service was impeccable and I recommend this place as a south Snoho County location. I wish more high tea places were in south Snoho County. Grateful for the ease of location and parking instead of having to drive to Seattle or up north to Marysville."

"This is such a cute little cafe! We have been here quite a few times and each time it’s absolutely amazing! They have the most delicious and tastiest drinks and food! It is always so flavorful, sweet and savory! Prices are decent as well! We even had my daughters birthday party here and it was absolutely wonderful! They created their own cupcakes and the price was unbeatable! The Staff is always so sweet and friendly. The restaurant itself is absolutely adorable inside with the most beautiful decor, clean and smells so wonderful. My kids absolutely adore this place. They also have a little toy area for kiddos to play! It is truly such a fun little place to take the family or meet up with friends!"

"Wow! This was my fourth time visiting Mel and Mia's and I am beyond impressed every time. Not only is the food great, but the service is always very excellent. Somehow they manage to make you feel important and well taken care of, despite having a busy restaurant. The prices are quite good for everything that you get (including bottomless tea!). Lastly, if you have a littler one who would enjoy a fancy atmosphere, then the unicorn tea is perfect! It is so magical (pink hot chocolate with glitter anyone?) - I found myself wishing that I was young again and could order it for myself! Overall, highly recommend this place."

"This is my favorite restaurant in the area!! I've been here many many times and everyone I've brought has absolutely fallen in love with Mel and Mia's! The staff are always chipper and friendly, the food is amazing, and everything is very affordable. My absolute favorite is the biscuit breakfast sandwich. The buttery biscuit has the perfect texture and the subtle sweetness balances well with the cheese and sausage. I always try something new when I go to Mel and Mia's as everything is delicious 😋 my only wish is that it was open every day of the week!! This is the gem of Edmonds, and it deserves a 5/5 stars."
